Level Concept
My level will be third person view. It is going to be an indoor and outdoor environment. I am going to build a house with 4 rooms, a maze outside the house and environment with a river.
There are going to be 4 different rooms. In each room, there will be 2 doors. Player has to pick a door in the right order to be teleported to the maze.
Player has to pick the door. Each door is a portal to the next room.
The main idea of this game is to get out of the house, go through the maze and river and go to the end point.
Each room will have a different design inside.
The player will know in which room he/she is because there will be a large room number on the wall.
The spawn/start point will be placed in the first room. If the player fails the correct door sequence will be automatically placed in spawn/start point.
Under the water, there will be a dead point so the player will have to use moving platforms to get on the other side of the river. The endpoint will be well visible and placed on the large stone.

Level plan

I created a few models in Maya which I included in my level.







Doors are the most critical models. They will teleport the player between the rooms and the last one will let the player escape the house. The rest of the furniture decorate the indoor environment.

Logic Puzzle Plan
My logic puzzle will be inside the house with four rooms. Each room has two doors (door 1 and door 2). The Player has to pick the correct door in every room to escape the house. If the player picks the wrong door the sequence will reset and the player will start from the beginning (start point/spawn). Although if the player will pick the right door in every room, will be automatically teleported to the maze.
Correct door for each room:
ROOM 1 - door 2 (2)
ROOM 2- door 1 (3)
ROOM 3 - door 1 (5)
ROOM 4 - door 2 (8)

Each room has a different design. To create a unique look I used ready models which I downloaded from Marketplace.


Outdoor


week 10
I built the maze from walls models in Unreal Engine and I used Unreal Engine materials to cover them.


My level has 3 parts: indoor (house with 4 rooms), maze and outdoor (open space with a river).
Each room has a different design. There is a mix of bright colours. Walls are covered with a mirror texture and floor has a moving material what looks like liquid. The outdoor area is a simple grass. The game world is a closed space with mirror walls. There are a waterfall and a small river which goes under the maze. Water has a dark colour the same as the tree and the bushes. Platforms have a light brown colour to be more visible for the player.
