week 1

My first task.
I had to design three characters - werewolf, fish and a vampire.
As a first week of drawing after a long break, I don't feel very comfortable to bring mysterious creatures like a werewolf or vampire. I tried my best, but I know I could do better than that.
week 2

The second week - perspectives.
1 point perspective.
I placed one point on a horizon/eye level line which is a vanishing point (V.P.). I leade all line to that point. In results, I received one point perspective drawing. That is how I would see a box which is placed above my head.
2 point perspective.
Based on the same horizon/eye level line I placed two vanishing points (V.P.1 and V.P.2). 2 points perspective gives me a better view of the box. I can see the top of the box it means the item is placed belove the horizon line. I am looking at the box from the top.

3 point perspective.
I placed two vanishing points on a horizon/eye level line and the third point below the horizon. This perspective gives me the good of a view of the objects. I can see "a car" in 3D (high, depth, width). This perspective shows me more details about the object than 1 point perspective or 2 points perspective.
Third vanishing point (V.P.3) can be placed above or under horizon/eye level eye. It depends how we are looking at the objects (from the top or bottom).
Those two drawings are based on pictures I have made walking around the university. A tonal picture is made from the top and line picture was made from the bottom.
I found a difficult to draw a tonal picture as I can not imagine how the shape of the shadow exactly should look like.
week 3

The first task - find an object around. Based on the shape create something new.
First drawing (left side) was inspired by a simple hair tie. I draw a space ship.
Second drawing presents a race gun (a little bit deformed). The inspiration for this drawing was a house key.
I find this task very interesting and creative.

week 6

ideas for a child dream

A child dream.
Main characters of this story are vegetables and sweets. The child is dreaming about a meal. The group of Sweets has an argument with the group of Vegetables who are better for the dinner. The doughnut is making the move and it jumped from the chair straight to a bowl. The rest of the Sweets followed him.

game design
Based on the character from movie "Monstropolis" - Mike Wazowski and a simple ghost creature I created two characters for a childhood dream.

Storyboard (not finished)
My idea of game flow, worlds, characters, levels, story.
In my game, I am going to create one main character - Karma ( the ways she looks is based on Medusa from Greek Mythology and Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft). She was born from the dragon egg, and her story begins in the Hades (Underworld). Her natural allies are snakes. She can call them whenever she needs them. Karma also has magical powers. Her primary power is a fire, however, she can absorb the power from others by killing them.

Classwork
Research about Medusa, ideas for the game story.
Karma (updates)

Testing colours.

Purple fire (Karma's basic ability power)
Environment - Earth (Acient Greece)

Guard and the Hunter of the Hades.
Guard and the Hunter of the Hades.
He will follow the main character while her journey in Hades. He is smart and he is the leader of all monsters in Hades. On his command, they are trying to kill the main character. His job is - he can not let her defeat and leave Hades.

This is a basic idea of how am I going to create Hades. It is going to be an underworld forest. Main colours - bright red, yellow, orange (as a imagine of fire and flames) and dark colours for the trees and other parts of the environment.

This is the texture for my main character's sneak tail.

Human girl from Earth.
Still working on details.
Name - Illa.

Still adding the details to my story board.

The picture on the left - I am trying to create my main character by using different compositions.

My idea of weather in Hades - once there is dark and cold, once there is hot and bright. I imagine cold weather as a dark background and all objects are white. It is still the underground forest.

Olimp's gate
I have made an Olimp's gates out of roll from newspaper sheets. I took my idea of Olimp form references below.
This is a basic project I have not finished it yet.

An update to the human character from Earth - Illa.
Pictures depicts the way she evolves after she met Karma (main character)

Following sketches depict the way I created environment from first person view. There are few buildings from Earth.

My further work on character - Karma.
I used picture on the left as my reference. Character in game is wearing a mystic hat. She does not have any hair, her "hair" are snakes.
I found really difficult to draw a nose from that perspective. After I finished the drawing I realised I did not draw lips in a right place. I suppose to draw it a little bit more on the right hand side.
To create this drawing I have used a black sheet of paper, white pencil and I finished all the main lines with white pen.
